Welcome home baby Axton! Mia Tyler and her partner bring newborn son back to New York apartment

She only welcomed her first child on Wednesday.

And Mia Tyler was already out and about with new son Axton on Friday, when the two were seen making a beeline for their house in New York City.

The 38-year-old daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, 69, looked quite spry as she toted her baby in a carrier car seat.

Still, Mia didn't abandon her rock and roll style for the excursion.

She pulled up the sleeves of her rock and roll print pullover to reveal her extensive body inking, and opted for black leggings and chunky black boots down below.

Her brunette tresses, which featured copper-dyed tips, were parted in the middle and fell well past her shoulders.

The designer and sometime model appeared mostly make-up free, save for a slick of light pink lipstick.

While she seemed to have no trouble carrying her little one by herself, boyfriend Dan Halen did help out by carrying her camouflage print purse for her.

It seems everyone is quite excited for little Axton's arrival, as grandfather Steven was seen loaded down with adorable flowers and balloons to celebrate the birth on Wednesday.

Mia herself was still clearly overwhelmed with emotion, as she posted a heartfelt message to Instagram on Friday proclaiming her absolute love for the newest addition to the family.

Along with a post explaining how much blood the human heart pumps in a lifetime, she expressed her new motherly thoughts in the caption.

'I love him to the moon and back times infinity,' she gushed, 'my son is my whole world now. I feel like nothing in my life was real before he was born. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for him.'

She also mused on how she intends to help her son grow up to be a successful adult.

'I can't wait to raise him as a true gentleman. To respect people but take no s**t. To work hard and love hard,' she declared, before stating what countless mothers have felt before.

'My heart is beyond full. I'm just simply happy. I finally found my reason for everything I've ever done. My love, my Ax. #babyaxton.'
