Ferrari is building just 599 examples of the Daytona SP3 and given that each one has a starting price of €2 million ($2.2 million), one would expect most owners to drive their cars quite gently out of fear of damaging them. The owner of this Daytona SP3 isn’t like that. Not at all.

Popular automotive YouTuber TFJJ recently headed out to the Heveningham Concours in the UK and one of the highlights of the event was this Daytona SP3. It is finished in a dark shade of red known as Rosso Libano and the owner didn’t just drive it quickly up the event’s short hillclimb but this video also shows him driving it like he stole it on the road and on a patch of grass.

Found beneath the stunning skin of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 that is good for 829 hp at 9,250 rpm and 514 lb-ft (697 Nm) of torque at 7,250 rpm. This engine is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed transmission that powers the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. While the car lacks the hybrid trickery of the 296 GTB and SF90 Stradale, it is still able to rocket from a standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.85 seconds, 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 7.4 seconds, and power through to a 211 mph (340 km/h) top speed.

In a world where more and more supercars and hypercars are either adopting forced induction or electrification, the Daytona SP3 is one of the last of its breed. The high-revving V12 sounds absolutely remarkable and is paired beautifully with the snappy sound emitted by the seven-speed gearbox when shifting up or down through the gears. What’s not to like?
