Vattenfall "more or less convinced" of reaching Danish offshore park on time

All the turbines are now installed on Vesterhav Syd and Nord, which have a deadline at the end of the year. However, the Swedish energy company is still struggling to dig down the cumbersome cables.

Last week, the last of the 41 offshore wind turbines on Vesterhav Syd and Nord were installed. However, the holy grail is now barely out of reach for Vattenfall which has contractually committed to Danish authorities to have the twin projects in full operation no later than the time the New Year’s bells ring. Some of the technically challenging cable work still remains to be done.
