Anthony Quinn Bay

Emerald green waters and beautiful white sand await you!

Anthony Quinn Bay is situated about 15km from Rhodes City in Greece and is known for its beautiful natural stone surfaces, perfect for a day basking under the sun with tall pine trees providing a good shade and emerald green waters inviting you to take a dip. The beach was named after the actor Anthony Quinn who bought this part of the island when the film ‘The Guns of Navarone’ was shot here.

The green waters are a result of the thick lush vegetation that surrounds the beach, making this beach one of the most stunning in Rhodes. Youths often frequent the beach as the sharp rocks in the waters may not be the most suitable for young children or the elderly. Drop by in July or August as the waters may be a little cold the rest of the year!

Tips Before You Go
Be sure to snag a sun bed by arriving early! During the summer months, many flood to the bay, so do avoid coming during those months if you’d like to avoid crowds.
