While trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, and a scary movie marathon are some of the more common ways to celebrate the spookiest day of the year, turns out there are a slew of ways to ring in Halloween. Whether you're looking to make some DIY Halloween decorations to help spook up your home, or you're looking for some out-of-the-box Halloween activities to keep your little ghouls and goblins occupied, it's time to create some spooktacular Halloween crafts that will take your holiday game to the next level. And while there are plenty of great kid Halloween crafts out there, you'll find just as many Halloween crafts for adults... so get your scissors and glue ready.
From creepy stuffed dolls to clever candy holders to pumpkin carving projects, there is no end to the ways you can make your own haunting decor and accessories before October 31. Before your guests arrive for your Halloween party and the trick-or-treaters start knocking on your door, here are some easy Halloween crafts that even the least DIY savvy adults can put together with a little time (and even less money).

Ghost Wreath
Steve Giralt

Garlands aren't just for Christmas! String candy corn onto monofilament fishing line with a needle (just avoid areas where the colors meet — corn can break at those points). Hang on a mantel or a staircase using cloth tape.
Who said cookie houses were only ever made of gingerbread during the holidays? This haunted cookie dough house doubles as decor, and it tastes just as good as it looks.
The crafting fun doesn't have to end after Oct. 31. If you're not sure what to do with all of that extra candy, create a candy calendar to help portion things out.
Pick a few clean-looking branches from your yard and hot-glue candy kernels onto them in clumps, concentrating on the ends. Wedge the branches into a small Styrofoam or floral square and rest it in the base of a vase, then cover with candy corn.
