Ribe Domkirke - Ribe Cathedral. The place for photographers interested in history.

The place for photographers interested in history.

The current church had its first construction period around 1150-1225 and is Denmark's oldest cathedral.

The Church is made of Rhine Tufstone with Gothic additions and alterations done in brick later.

The cathedral is built as a 3-nave church with two identical towers.

The church is a unique building with a location right in the middle of Ribe and can be seen from longer distances on the flat Wadden Sea coast.

Parking can be done in several places near the center. For example at St. Peders Gade, where you have 4 hours of free parking (remember to set the parking disc).
