worst costumer care experience ever

Hope our mishap at Babysam will help them to change things drastically.
We have bought the pram in 2020. After only 2.5 years, mold has grown on the wooden board, even though it has been stored correctly (inside at night, giving air the mattress up, etc.).
When we discovered this, we wrote to Babysam, who suggested to clean it with Rodalon, and told that unfortunately they couldn't help.
Our doctor advised us to get a new pram, as cleaning is not safe and mold is definitely not good for a baby.
Babysam did not accept our complaint. We got 10% off a new one, which we had to buy immediately as we didn't want to let our son sleep in the pram. We spent a Saturday morning picking up the new lift. When we had to use it the next day, we discovered that they had given us the wrong one. We spent another morning going to Babysam, but when we arrived at the shop in Tilst they explained that the new lift we had ordered, it had to be sent back to Odder the producer to be fixed as they were afraid that it would break off the frame...
Finally we got a new lift which of course is not made of a wooden board like the one we bought to start with, but it is in plastic. This can explain why the producer changed material in the meanwhile. Babysam said that the new lift is longer than the one we already had , and can therefore be used for a longer period of time. When we finally get the new lift (after another trip in Babysam), we see that it can also hold 9kg, like the old lift, which means that it cannot be used for a longer period and it measures the same.
To say that we are very disappointed with our experience at Babysam it is nothing. Worst experience ever! We think they should have replaced the lift with the new model, as mold should not form on the wooden board after such a short time and ask Odder to refund them.

Icing on the cake: the male clerk out in Tilst was very unpleasant, and I personally was also threatened that he would call the police as soon as I complained about the service. I felt discriminated because I am not fluent in Danish, since when he spoke on the phone with my Danish partner, he changed his attutude and became polite and helpful. She was as shocked by his behavior as I was.

What to say more,stay away from Babysam.

Not recommended

I payed for Burs service but it takes 4 days to arrived my order.

Fair prices online, good shop experience

Fair prices online on things that have price guarantee (compared to German websites). The shop assistants in physical shop are very helpful in answering the questions future parents have.

I did quite an expensive big order to…

I did quite an expensive big order to Sweden and it arrived really quickly and in great shape and with a good price! I compare this to when I tried to order from another European baby site in Holland where I had the opposite experience. I highly recommend Babysam also for international orders.

So great

So great, ordered online to pick up in store. The guy in the shop opened and assembled the pram and said if I didn't like it I could return in on the spot (this same guy also helped me look for prams and told me this is the quickest way to order one to the store when none in stock)

UPDATE: I have been contacted, the thermo bottle willbe delivered to me by th epusle taske partner.

Order W200823525. Did not receive with my pusletaske a thermo bottle...still waiting for response from support team, though instead of just sending one right away, I was told that they will contact the brand in order to investigate smth....so it seems it takes really long time. Which is a shame for such big brand. Will update later if anything will happen.

Order and "systemfejl"

We ordered an autochair for our son online.
There were only few stores that had it on store as shown in the system so we ordered in Viby and asked a friend to pick it up for us.
As my friend went to the store to pick up the chair they told her that there was a mistake in the system and that they never had it in their stock but they would get it delivered and that is when it should be picked up.
As it was clear that the mistake was not on our end, the lady in the store promised that the chair would be sent to us with GLS as soon as they receive it.
And it worked fine. The system sent out the automated messages that we have to pick it up which got us a little confused, but the chair was delivered swiftly and our requests have been answered. So besides that mistake it all went well and the problem solving was quite efficient

A grandparents delight

Great place for grandparents.
Good quality clothes, toys, and accessories. How deep is your pocket? if you're on a budget they have some good sales. I did notice that a popular toy store has some of the same toys but they are cheaper. Nevertheless, there are plenty of affordable things to go around.

It's a very good shop for…

It's a very good shop for baby/toddler/mama. Great selection and fair prices. It's a great advantage that the shop exists both as a physical as well as online business. The only critical comment ( reason for 4 stars ) is that their gift card cannot be used directly in the online shop. One must purchase items online, pick them up in a physical store, return, and purchase again in the store using the gift card. I would imagine such huge store would have all that figured out in a more customer friendly way. All in all it is a very well stocked shop.
