worst costumer care experience ever
Hope our mishap at Babysam will help them to change things drastically.
We have bought the pram in 2020. After only 2.5 years, mold has grown on the wooden board, even though it has been stored correctly (inside at night, giving air the mattress up, etc.).
When we discovered this, we wrote to Babysam, who suggested to clean it with Rodalon, and told that unfortunately they couldn't help.
Our doctor advised us to get a new pram, as cleaning is not safe and mold is definitely not good for a baby.
Babysam did not accept our complaint. We got 10% off a new one, which we had to buy immediately as we didn't want to let our son sleep in the pram. We spent a Saturday morning picking up the new lift. When we had to use it the next day, we discovered that they had given us the wrong one. We spent another morning going to Babysam, but when we arrived at the shop in Tilst they explained that the new lift we had ordered, it had to be sent back to Odder the producer to be fixed as they were afraid that it would break off the frame...
Finally we got a new lift which of course is not made of a wooden board like the one we bought to start with, but it is in plastic. This can explain why the producer changed material in the meanwhile. Babysam said that the new lift is longer than the one we already had , and can therefore be used for a longer period of time. When we finally get the new lift (after another trip in Babysam), we see that it can also hold 9kg, like the old lift, which means that it cannot be used for a longer period and it measures the same.
To say that we are very disappointed with our experience at Babysam it is nothing. Worst experience ever! We think they should have replaced the lift with the new model, as mold should not form on the wooden board after such a short time and ask Odder to refund them.
Icing on the cake: the male clerk out in Tilst was very unpleasant, and I personally was also threatened that he would call the police as soon as I complained about the service. I felt discriminated because I am not fluent in Danish, since when he spoke on the phone with my Danish partner, he changed his attutude and became polite and helpful. She was as shocked by his behavior as I was.
What to say more,stay away from Babysam.
