IT'S BEEN nearly 20 years since Friends aired its 10th and final season but it continues on as one of the most popular television shows in history.
While Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc might be known for their iconic Friends characters, the stars have not slowed down since the show wrapped and fans want to know what they're up to now.
Where is the cast of Friends now?
Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston has kept busy since the show's final episode aired in 2004.
She went on to star in several other iconic productions, including Just Go With It, alongside Adam Sandler, and We're the Millers, alongside Will Poulter, Jason Sudeikis, and Emma Roberts.

In 2019, she also teamed up with her long-time friend Reese Witherspoon for the Apple TV drama series The Morning Show.
The two previously met on the set of Friends, when Witherspoon landed the guest role as Jill Green, Rachel's sister.
As for her relationships, Aniston divorced Brad Pitt in 2005 and later married Justin Theroux in 2015 but got divorced again shortly after in 2017.
David Schwimmer
Like Aniston, David Schwimmer has also found much success after Friends wrapped.

Lisa Kudrow
Lisa Kudrow's role as the loveable Phoebe Buffay earned her numerous accolades, including a Primetime Emmy and Screen Actors Guild award.
Since 2004, Kudrow has starred in several productions, including Better Nate Than Ever, The Girl on the Train, Easy A, and The Other Woman.

Matt LeBlanc
After Friends wrapped in 2004, Matt LeBlanc reprised his role as Joey Tribbiani in the spin-off series Joey.

However, the show was canceled in 2006 due to low ratings.
After that, LeBlanc kept a low profile but made his acting comeback in 2016 after landing the role of Adam Burns in the CBS sitcom Man with a Plan.

What happened to James Michael Tyler aka Gunther from Friends?
James Michael Tyler was an actor best known for his role as Gunther on Friends.
Tragically, it was announced on October 24, 2021, that he passed away at the age of 59 following a battle with stage four prostate cancer.
"Tyler passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles on Sunday morning," his manager said in a statement.
After his passing, Tyler's family reportedly said: "The world knew him as Gunther (the seventh 'Friend'), from the hit series Friends, but Michael’s loved ones knew him as an actor, musician, cancer-awareness advocate, and loving husband."
"Michael loved live music, cheering on his Clemson Tigers, and would often find himself in fun and unplanned adventures. If you met him once you made a friend for life."
