This would make a beautiful baby blanket or toddler bed throw blanket. An heirloom piece a special child will cherish and pass on to their loved ones. This blanket, as written, will end up larger than a typical baby blanket but can easily be made a custom length. To adjust the width, I’d suggest adding more or less of the double moss or trinity stitch sections.

I designed this blanket for my toddler’s room to put on his bed or over his couch. He has a small couch in his room as his “reading corner.” This couch used to be mine when I was little. I’m so glad my parents kept it for me to hand down to my child, but it needs a little cozy style update :)

Happy Knitting!

Pattern Notes:

This blanket is knit flat using circular needles knitting back and forth. You can use long straight needles if preferred.
