Chanelle: “I love my curves but I’ll lose 2st for my wedding!”

Insiders say Chanelle Hayes is keen to settle down with her new beau Ryan Oates and is plotting a bridal body transformation

She’s admitted S to feeling more confident in her skin now than she ever has after gaining 6st and going up to a size 16 – but Chanelle Hayes has told pals she’d still love to regain her figure if she marries new man Ryan Oates.

Insiders say Chanelle – who was body-shamed by her ex Jack Tweed in a cruel Tweet last month – is happier than ever with PE teacher Ryan, after meeting him on Tinder in April.

CURVIER FIGURE

The 5ft 4 reality star famously shed an impressive 4st in 2014 after following a strict diet and training regime, going down to 9st and a size 8.

But after injuring her coccyx in a drunken fall later that year, Chanelle found herself unable to exercise and reaching for comfort food. And in recent months, she’s revealed she’s given up dieting and is happier than ever with her 14st figure.

A pal says: “Chanelle is in a really good place. She’s head- over-heels for Ryan and has told friends she’s desperate to settle down with him.

“Ryan’s been really supportive and says he’d love her at any size, but he’s told her if she ever wanted to lose weight, he’d help train her. While she’s happy as she is, she’s said she’d love to lose 2st and tone up for her dream dress if they end up getting married. “Chanelle also wants to have a baby with Ryan, and feels she’d have a better chance of conceiving if she was a healthier weight.”

Since gaining weight, Chanelle, 28 – who is already mum to son Blakely, five, but split from his dad, footballer Matthew Bates, 29, in 2010 – has been proudly parading her curvier figure.

GLAMOUR MODEL

Speaking to Closer back in April, the star said: “I’m really embracing my body – why should there be so much emphasis on weight? You can look and feel good at any size!

“Besides, my priorities have changed. Blakely is at school and I’d rather be at home with him in the evening than at the gym. There are more important things in life than what size you are.”

And while Chanelle has a positive attitude towards her figure, pals say like any would-be bride she’d love to look her best on her big day. But she’s said to be adamant that if she embarks on a shape-up plan it will be a realistic lifestyle change, rather than a fad diet.

The source adds: “If Chanelle decides to shape up, she won’t go on any crazy restrictive diets. She doesn’t want to shrink to an unrealistic size that she can’t maintain and just wants to lose the weight slowly and steadily.”
