Ecce Homo

Ecce Homo by| Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin: Ohlson created her project Ecce Homo to commemorate her male gay friends who had died of AIDS. The 12 pictures interpret the New Testament and the life of Jesus with an LGBTQ perspective and it came to be one of the world's most controversial photo exhibition. Almost every showing received a bomb threat and the pope cancelled a meeting with the Swedish Archbishop because of the exhibition.
