‘Vikings: Valhalla’ Season 3 First Look, Cast, Date Announcement - Netflix Tudum

All epic sagas must come to an end, and Vikings: Valhalla will embark on one last adventure in Season 3.
Co-creator and executive producer Jeb Stuart is bringing the series to a natural creative conclusion next year, but the ship won’t be sailing off into the sunset quietly. “I am so grateful to have had three seasons to tell the stories of Leif, Harald, and Freydís. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to show the evolution of how three of the most famous Vikings became the icons we know today, and we have done just that,” Stuart said. “I hope when the audience gets to see the new season, they’ll be excited by all the new heights that we’ve taken these heroes.”
When we last saw our warriors, there was more bloodshed than ever before. From a treacherous journey to Constantinople to a gory face-off, the Vikings’ will to survive is put to the test. But the danger is far from over. Keep scrolling to learn more about what you can expect from this final voyage.

Where can I see first-look photos of Vikings: Valhalla Season 3?
The saga continues in these Season 3 first-look photos of Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), and Freydís Eiríksdóttir (Frida Gustavsson) — and there might also be a long-awaited reunion for the trio. Although it’s the final season, fans will also meet two new characters: Maniakes (Florian Munteanu), a fearless Byzantine general who answers only to the Emir, and Erik the Red (Goran Višnjić), Leif and Freydís’ father.
What’s Vikings: Valhalla about?
The historical fiction series, which premiered in 2021, follows a new generation of legendary heroes a hundred years after the Vikings of the History Channel. As tension arises between the Vikings and the English in the early 11th century, these characters inspired by Norse mythology must fight for their own beliefs, territory, and legacy.
“When we started this project five years ago, I worked hard with this incredible cast and crew to craft a journey that we all hoped would be satisfying,” Stuart said. “Of course with real historical figures, there are always more aspects of their lives that could be explored, but it made sense storywise for our Leif, Freydís, and Harald’s voyages to end with our third season. And we really cannot wait for the fans to see the conclusion of this chapter of history.”
When’s the Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 release date?
Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 will premiere in 2024. Before we say goodbye to our warriors (and their beards), dive back into the lore with the first two seasons of Vikings: Valhalla, now streaming on Netflix.
