IKEA Turned Its Iconic Blue Bag Into A Bucket Hat & You Could Buy One Right Now (PHOTOS)

IKEA is known for its affordable and stylish decor and home furnishings, all of which are accompanied by some of the most fun-to-pronounce Swedish names. Well, KNORVA is the most recent name to be added to IKEA's repertoire of random, yet impressive repertoire of items sold across Canada.

What is it? A bucket hat. But not just any bucket hat.

The KNORVA bucket hat sold at IKEA Canada is made from IKEA's iconic giant blue shopping bag. Whether you've got a pile of them in a cabinet somewhere, or one giant IKEA bag stuffed into another, chances are we've all got one of these massive plastic bags on hand. And now, you can have them on your head, too.

Although IKEA is known to carry items beyond furniture, including a wide range of home accessories, kitchen appliances, textiles, and decor items, IKEA is now upping the ante when it comes to this must-need fashion find.

"This hat is made of the same hardwearing and durable materials as one of the world's most used bags. Provides protection from the sun and rain, and is easy to keep clean – just rinse and dry," the IKEA description reads. And the best part? It's only $2.50. Considering it is a practical accessory and an item people would lowkey definitely wear, IKEA hit the nail on the head with this one.

The outer fabric and webbing are made up of 100% polypropylene, while the lining and thread are comprised of 100% polyester. The bucket hat is nine centimetres in height (three and a half inches) and 16 centimetres in diameter (six inches).

The IKEA bucket hat can be purchased online or it can be ordered in-store through an IKEA employee.
