Lidded paper gift boxes are a gift-wrapping go-to for a reason—they're not only polished, but they're also sturdy and make gift-wrapping a breeze. They hold up beautifully to being reused or repurposed around the house, which makes them a great sustainable gift-wrapping option. While they often require little more than a simple bow, covering them with gift wrap not only allows you to tailor the look for specific occasions, but can protect the box underneath so it will be beautiful and useful for years to come—be sure to wrap both lid and base separately so that it's easy to open and close. What You'll Need Materials Gift box (Mesha Store Kraft Gift Box with Lid) Gift-wrapping paper (Rifle Paper Co. Emerald Peonies Wrapping Sheet) Bone folder Craft scissors Tape Ribbon and gift toppers (optional) Instructions Olivia Kanaley Inman Position the base of the box on a piece of wrapping paper. Leaving a margin equal to the height of the box plus 1/2-inch on all sides, cut the wrapping paper. Using your fingers or a bone folder, make creases along the bottom of the box and fold along each, making a crease along the whole edge of the paper. Tie the box with a ribbon and gift toppers, if desired.
