Since a few months back, all Vitamin Well caps are fixated on the bottlenecks and stay on while you enjoy our drinks.    The attached caps are part of a litter-reducing EU directive that enters into force in July 2024. From then, attached caps will be a requirement for all plastic beverage bottles. The purpose is to reduce the amount of plastic litter ending up in the environment and to promote a circular economy.   The attached caps are clearly a good thing, so we thought: Why wait? Now all Vitamin Well bottles are produced with this new feature. As such, consumers in many of our markets have been introduced to the attached caps for the first time through Vitamin Well. Some like them instantly, while some seem to need some time to get used to them. But most agree that the purpose of limiting plastic litter is great.    At Vitamin Well, we continuously explore new ways to limit our environmental impact. One of the steps was implementing 100 percent recycled plastics in all bottles, the early realization of the attached caps was another. While adjusting the bottles for the new caps we simultaneously decreased the bottleneck, resulting in a 4% reduction in plastics, weight, and CO2e emissions per bottle.    Remember to follow Vitamin Well for weekly updates on everything regarding our company and brands!
