They just look like simple twists, but there might actually be some sort of wax in there (often a key to dreadlocks), since she doesn't seem to have anything holding them together at the end...
Are they here to stay? Dunno yet. Time will tell if she's really going for dreadlocks or if it was just a one-time thing for fun. But I think I'll be supportive if she chooses to keep them around. While not quite my personal style, I'm kind of digging this on her. It's cool and relaxed and I bet those pieces do really cool things when she dances.
What do you guys think? Hope she really is going for dreads? Think twists in general are cool? Like her hair soft and shiny and hope this was just a one-off thing? And did you ever have dreads? They were kind of big at my high school.
