Waxy Spring Buds to Voluptuous Floral Magnolia Blossoms...

There's a slight sting in the opening that other reviewers have also mentioned - that may read as bitter citrus but to me it's a waxy blend of freesia, jasmine & cashmeran. That settles quickly and we're into the beautiful, fluffy magnolia, with a hint of citrus in the background that's softer and sweeter now just accenting the magnolia, with a faint shampoo-soap vibe alongside. This gets better and better as it dries down, as if the waxy spring buds were unfurling into voluminous, voluptuous magnolia blossoms, becoming sweeter in the sunshine. Throughout the drydown, I catch reminders of other magnolia scents, but overall this leans more floral than golden, citrus or fruity.

This has average performance for a spring-summer wearing experience with a lovely soft sillage, but could be worn year round as a softer floral - the sillage is EDT level, and the longevity is EDC level as expected but might improve with dark storage. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

An exciting breath of spring, a joyful, wonderful fragrance, with the harshly citrusy and lively opening of pink pepper, a fragrance that embodies the white and fleshy purity of the magnolia petal. Magnolia immersed in white floral notes of palpable freesia and delicate jasmine. Olfactory experience that praises the masterful spring floral beauty. On dry down the enveloping and sensual notes of sandalwood enclose the entire olfactory experience.

Fresh airy everyday fragrance. A little bit sting at the openong but fine

I am honestly surprised at how strong this is, given that it is an EdC. I am mostly smelling magnolia, freesia and cashmeran. For my taste, the cashmeran is a bit too strong, but I guess this is also why sillage and longevity are above average. I suggest that magnolia lovers give this a try because the magnolia note is nicely done and the performance compares to a weaker EdT.

After spraying: it really smells like saucer magnolia (Magnolia x soulangeana) - cold flowery fragrance. With only the hint of original 4711 EDC. Like a walk on a rainy spring day - you stop under a huge magnolia tree and see plenty of flowers, sitting on branches like white doves. The ground under the tree is all covered with petals.
After half an hour: cologney, masculine note gets stronger, I can scent dry, woody, nutty note of powdered oakmoss (dry like hazelnut) and aftershave. It's definitely unisex.
I love the first phase.

It smells like a shower gel, in a good way. It is fresh, floral, feminine and soft. Good for everyday use, inoffensive.
