Scott Caan shows off his muscular beach body as he strips down to nothing but shorts after a surf session
He plays a detective chasing bad guys on Hawaii Five-O.
But on his time off Scott Caan likes to get involved in another activity which originated in the Polynesian paradise - surfing.
On Monday the 38-year-old was spotted catching waves in Malibu before stripping off his wetsuit top, exposing his muscular and paddling toned torso.

The actor used his teeth to help pull his vest off, before trudging back to his car in nothing but powder blue board shorts.
While out in the water, Caan showed off some impressive surfing skill as he attempted a floater and ever got in a bottom turn.
But he did appear to break surfing etiquette by dropping in on another surfer who was deeper in the wave.

Later he could be seen looking a bit frustrated as he dropped into a closeout before heading into shore.
Meanwhle, Caan and his girlfriend Kacy Byxbee have welcomed their first child together.Josie James was born July 9.
Scott, who plays by-the-book cop Danny Williams, and Kacy met on the set of Hawaii Five-O and have been dating ever since.

The actor has been tight lipped about his private life and has kept the baby news under wraps, never formally announcing Kacy's pregnancy.
The Caan did talk briefly about a girlfriend during an appearance on Chelsea Lately in January 2013.
'She should get the purple heart because I'm a complete disaster,' Scott said about Kacy.
Scott is said to have been over-the-moon when he discovered Kacy was expecting.

One person who is also said to be delighted is his old man James Caan.
Apparently the 74-year-old Godfather star can hardly wait to become a grandparent.
The source said: 'His dad James is really close with him. He is very excited.'
The new proud parents spend most of their time living in Hawaii to accommodate Scott's filming schedule.
