Description
First introduced in 1963, the Double Six is by far the most user friendly twelve string guitar on the market today. The 49mm nut width allows ample room for the strings to be separated for easier fingering. The strings are fitted through a specially designed bridge to achieve perfect intonation. It has seven different pickup selections. All the same features as the standard Double Six except fitted with the 12 string Rez-o-Tube tremolo system. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & very clean for the most part. There is a small crack in the body finish on the treble-side of the neck pocket.
Neck: Hard rock maple neck with some gorgeous flame figuring. Pearloid binding with black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Apache block inlay in the 12th fret. Frets are clean with no wear. Burns original headstock with flame figuring & diecast tuners1 1 15/16" nut width. Brass nut with zero fret. 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid basswood body finished in white with 2-ply black pickguard. Rez-o-Tube tremolo system with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 15.8 oz.
Electronics: Three Burns Tri-Sonic pickups with 5-way selector switch. Master volume & dual tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. One tone knob is push/pull for additional pickup selection. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original accessories & paperwork.
