The curve is simple--two un-domed track pieces with skate park stickers on the bottoms. The set comes with 3 "connector U" pieces and no end ramps. They attach easily to the other zhu zhu sets. The "skateboard" has no moving parts, but is adorable. You need to snap a pet onto it--the pet cannot get on the board without human help--then the pet zooms around any surface as usual, except there's a skateboard between the hamster and the floor/tunnel/etc. The board does restrict movement in some tunnels/playsets, so it's mostly fun for when the pets are going wild on a bare floor. But the hamsters usually find a way to flip themselves over or otherwise get into a predicament requiring assistance, so the skateboard doesn't cause many extra issues. Overall, this set is what I was expecting, and my kids are having a lot of fun with it.
This product was bought for my wife's grandchild and she loved it! The problem with most toys is the number of parts that end up missing, etc. but this is not the case with this one.
I am completely disappointed in this toy. The U-turn is very cheaply made and the skateboard does NOT fit into the u-turn, unlike the picture on the front of the box. The u-turn should be something I could buy at the Dollar Store. I agree with the person that states it is hard to keep the hampster on the skateboard as well. I really believe this was a complete waste of money and will NOT buy anymore accessories for these hamsters.
This add on is not worth the money. It is not sturdy, uneducational, fun for a little while. I gave this to my granddaughter for an early Christmas gift, as I will not be seeing her this Christmas. The Zhu Zhu Pets tip over very easily when using the U-turn. My granddaughter is seven years old...I know that she will quickly lose interest in these toys within a year. The are extremely overpriced by all sellers. The Zhu Zhu hamsters are very cute to play with on their own. The noises that they make are adorable, so don't waste your money on any of the add-ons! The Zhu Zhu hamsters are extremely overpriced as well, but, being a doting Grandma, I HAD to get these for my granddaughter!
Even though I would recommend this product because it's so cute; I do have to say that I was a little shocked at the cheap plastic that makes the sleep hut (dome). The surf board looks and feels sturdy but the sleep hut (dome) I think is way too thin. You can easily bend the plastic. I could easily see my daughter pressing to hard to close the sleep hut and have it snap in her hands (potentially cutting her hand). I would think it would be thicker to stand up to a 5-year old. BTW - You may purchase this dome at Walmart for ten dollars.
