All our mushroom cultures are only one transfer away from the mother culture to insure a vibrant, healthy and fast-growing mushroom culture. Each culture is 10cc of mycelium suspended in a nutrient broth solution or commonly referred to as a liquid culture. Your mushroom culture is guaranteed to arrive 100% viable and completely contamination free. Your mushroom culture is ready to inoculate a substrate of your choice. We recommend expanding your culture using agar, liquid culture media or grain to grain transfer's.

People saying it doesn't grow: make sure the transportation doesn't take too long, make sure it doesn't get too hot (ordering through summer might not be the best idea), make sure you follow sterility protocols with aseptic techniques, make sure you know what you're doing...

Got the results I was looking for. I have the results now in a container outside for winter freezing. In spring I'll put into a shroom bed. So far so good. To place them out for wintering; I did feed them with some potash, blood meal and calcium. I mixed a bed with pearlite, vermiculite and a soil mix that is favorable for mushrooms. I used a small amount of molasses and water to set the medium. I have well water, so no issues. Just be aware that city water may have chemicals that are not so favorable for your mushrooms. Get the rye bags for the culture, works perfect.

I have no idea what, if anything, I did wrong but I got absolutely nothing. Because I want to be fair, I reordered and have tried yet again. Hopefully this time it will work. If not, it will be a $100 lesson learned. I don't like giving bad/unsatisfactory reviews so will try to remember to update this with a good one when/if this new batch actually grows and produces.
