My son N created this perler bead design using a pattern from one of our favourite websites: Coloring Squared.
This website offers pixel art colouring pages by solving simple math problems to colour by number. It even has a Nintendo section!
N got creative making this design by using the Super Smash Bros Mario Mural as his template. As you can see, there are six sections to the Mario head that he made. He created each section separately, using one pegboard at a time, and when he was finished I ironed them all together (no easy feat)! Halfway through he got bored of working on it. Maybe we’ll save Mario’s bottom half for another day!
