No Reserve: 1977 Fiat 900 Coriasco Pickup

This 1977 Fiat 900 Coriasco recently received €8k in cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment, including a repaint in the factory color, replacement chrome, refinished wood, and a refurbished set of Cromodora alloy wheels. Based on a Fiat 900T van, this vehicle was constructed by the Turin-based Carrozzeria Coriasco Autoveicoli Industriali, which had a history of building custom bodies since the 1920s and constructing commercial vehicles for Fiat since 1948. This 2-door pickup was reportedly purchased new by a local business, where it remained until being acquired by a wine merchant in 2007. Power comes from a rear-mounted 903cc inline-four paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and recent mechanical servicing included a tune-up, brake service, and more as outlined below. This Coriasco is now being offered in Agliana, Italy with records from recent service, an Italian libretto, and a clear registration.

In June 2018 the body received a repaint in the factory color, which also included refinishing the lower storage compartment, door jambs, pickup bed, and interior surfaces. Reassembly included new chrome bumpers, side mirrors, and emblems. Paint meter readings have been provided in the gallery below.

New bedsides crafted from marine-grade plywood were also added at this time, and wine crates from the truck’s service as a promotional vehicle for a local wine merchant are included with the sale. Refinished Cromodora alloy wheels are wrapped in a new set of tires, and the brake master cylinder has been rebuilt.

The liquid-cooled 903cc inline-four and 4-speed gearbox can also be found in the Fiat 127, and the recent tune-up included a new set of spark plugs, ignition points, and a condenser. A few engine seals were also replaced and a compression test performed.
