Or at least they will when they are 6-9 months old. I probably should have used smaller needles because these jackets are large. Fortunately the babies will be bigger by the time they would need warmer clothes.Even though the buttons are plastic, I thought the colors of the buttons went pretty well with the yarns. I liked the faux abalone finish of the buttons for Baby Eve's jacket.IMG 1773I thought the intricate design of the black buttons was nice and added an extra bit of interest to the red and white for Baby Amelia's jacket.IMG 1971I wanted to add an applied i-cord to the edges like the other Baby Surprise Jackets I made, but it's been two years since I last made a jacket and couldn't remember how to get it to work. I reinforced the neck edge so that it doesn't get so loose as the jacket is used.
