Eastern Cornhusker Trapshooting Conference

Wow. No rain. But the temperature was a record setting 17 degrees at the start of the meet. To make things worse the wind was averaging 20 miles per hour from the north with gusts of 40 to 45 miles per hour during the day. All in all a miserable windy, cold day.

The afternoon was more of the same with the cold and wind making for difficult shooting conditions. The big tent became a sail as the grommets were torn from the stakes holding it down. The wind was so bad that noone broke a 25 straight. None of the coaches could remember a meet where noone broke a 25 straight until this meet. Pictures are from practices before this meet when the weather was more cooperative.

Kathleen Doyle finished first in the Ladies Handicap event.

Kathleen Doyle finished third in the Ladies Overall.
