The translations are excellent. The only drawback is that translation is limited to 300 words. If and when you reach that limit, a title will appear from Google to translate full text, via Google. A good feature, providing you remember what you have written. Otherwise, a very fine application.

The translation are very good, just that it would be even better if the pronunciation button is enable in i Google. Or need to be adjusted at the setting?

"Pâté de fois gras" is a French culinary specialty. The closest translation to English I would suggest is "Full-fat liver pâté" or more specifically I would say "French full-fat liver pâté". I am a native of France based in London.

Some people can't type in kata, hiragana, or in kanji. Why isn't Romanji an option for translating from Japanese? It makes things easier.

Great tool, but giving the responses in Greek alphabet for example is of NO USE. I can't read Greek or I wouldn't be asking you to translate. How do I say the squiggly lines?

I find most translated sentences need to be corrected for grammar. But this tool is helpful in translating individual words not used in every day conversation. I'm grateful for it.

I was able to translate cat from English to German. Results: 1. cat 2. Katze 3. Raubkatze, 4. Typ 5. Raupe Judging by the date of the Kitty Kat post (April 1), I would say Google was spoofing you.

I try to get the google translator to translate cat from English to German and it gets 'No Definitons found'. What on earth is that? How can it not translate something as simple at 'cat'?

I love this tool. If you know the grammatical order of the language, you can get very good translations. I am OFFENDED, though, that you can't get it to translate God's proper name, Jehovah, without it removing it and replacing it with title, LORD. Why is one religion being favored over another? Why should Hebraic tradition disallow Christians to translate the Most Holy name into their chosen language? Fix that and this gadget gets five stars, not until.
